What if the charging station is not connecting?
Steps to Check and Resolve Connection Issues with a Lumosa Charging Station
1. Check the Power Supply
Ensure that the charging station is receiving power.
- Is the status light on?
- Is the internal power supply working correctly?
- If in doubt: turn the main switch off and then on again.
2. Check the Network Cable (LAN)
- Is the cable securely connected at both ends?
- Are you using a switch? Make sure it is powered on.
- Preferably, test with a different cable to rule out a broken cable.
3. Check the Router or Network Configuration
- Is there internet access on the port the charging station is connected to?
- Are there firewall or VLAN settings blocking traffic?
- Is DHCP enabled? (required for automatic configuration)
4. Are You Using a 4G Modem?
Check:
- signal strength
- active data SIM card
- data limit
- restart the modem if necessary
5. Restart the Charging Station
A reboot often resolves temporary connection loss.
Turn off the station for 10 seconds and then turn it back on.
