What if the charging station is not connecting?

Steps to Check and Resolve Connection Issues with a Lumosa Charging Station

1. Check the Power Supply

Ensure that the charging station is receiving power.

  • Is the status light on?
  • Is the internal power supply working correctly?
  • If in doubt: turn the main switch off and then on again.

2. Check the Network Cable (LAN)

  • Is the cable securely connected at both ends?
  • Are you using a switch? Make sure it is powered on.
  • Preferably, test with a different cable to rule out a broken cable.

3. Check the Router or Network Configuration

  • Is there internet access on the port the charging station is connected to?
  • Are there firewall or VLAN settings blocking traffic?
  • Is DHCP enabled? (required for automatic configuration)

4. Are You Using a 4G Modem?

Check:

  • signal strength
  • active data SIM card
  • data limit
  • restart the modem if necessary

5. Restart the Charging Station

A reboot often resolves temporary connection loss.
Turn off the station for 10 seconds and then turn it back on.
