Can I unlock the charging cable using my car or the app?
Yes, with some electric vehicles you can also unlock the charging cable using:
- your car's infotainment system;
- a physical unlock button inside the vehicle;
- the vehicle manufacturer's mobile app.
The available options depend on the make and model of your vehicle.
Didn't work? Try the following steps:
- Lock your vehicle.
- Unlock it again immediately afterwards.
For many electric vehicles, this resets the charging cable lock, allowing the cable to be released.
